About White Oak
White Oak Veterinary Hospital opened in July of 2007 in the town of Fletcher, North Carolina. Dr. John Howland has practiced veterinary medicine in the greater Asheville area since 1998 and envisioned a full service small animal general practice offering high quality, professional and compassionate veterinary care to serve this growing region. We provide healthcare to canine and feline patients. White Oak Veterinary Hospital’s pet healthcare philosophy centers on the importance of preventative medicine and proactive client education while utilizing modern, thorough approaches to patient care. Keeping four legged family members healthy is our way of celebrating the bond between pets and their people.
